ASM to APM bridge is not picking up new monitors.

Issue/Introduction

The DX SAAS APM instance contains metrics from ASM which are populated by the APMIA ASM plugin.

When adding new monitors to ASM (either in existing folders or new folders), these are not being picked up by the agent, and only metrics for existing monitors are displayed.

Maybe because the APMIA agent needs to be restarted to fix the issue?

Resolution

Issuing a restart on the APMIA Agent would be the fastest workaround.  

To alleviate this issue without always having to restart the APMIA Agent, please set the below property in the <APMIA Agent home>/extensions/asm-monitor<version #>/bundle.properties file

asm.configUpdateInterval=5

A restart for this to take effect is required.
