Projects where the user has permission are missing in the adhoc view or default reports

Issue/Introduction

Admin account on Clarity demo 15.9 environment creates an Ad-Hoc Report based on project management domain and see projects as follows:

Next give permission to the report to a PM user- "Paul Martin". This user has only right to some projects in the Clarity.

Run the following Jobs:

• Load Data Warehouse (full load)
• Create and Update Jaspersoft Users
• Load Data Warehouse Access Rights

Login as "Paul Martin' and run the report

You can see some projects where the user has permission are missing and matches the same projects that the PM is a manager:

 

Does it mean the clarity user needs “Manager” or "Edit" rights for a Project to see it in Reporting with project management domains?

Environment

Clarity Release : 15.9.2

Cause

The project and investment view rights in the product secure following domains. Users can view the projects and investments in these domains to which they have access in the product.

Resolution

Clarity report user must be having explicit project view rights in order to view project (s) on the on the project management domain. Project participants would be table able to see the project without Project View rights. But only Project View rights will be loaded in DWH_INV_INVESTMENT_V table.
