Issue/Introduction

The 32-bit Workbench 13.0.4 client was installed, and the same error continues when using Powerbuilder.

Environment

Release : 13.0.3

Component : CA HARVEST SCM GUI/Harweb

Cause

They had upgraded SCM Client and Visual Studio plugin from version 12.0 FP2 to version 13.0.4.  Harvest has changed the way it integrates with Visual Studio from using a "SCC" interface to using a "VSIP" interface.  The hscc.dll module was obsolete and was dropped several versions ago.

Resolution

It seems that Powerbuilder is not compatible with the latest version of Harvest, because that dll no longer exists.

There are two options to solve this problem:

1. Contact "Appeon", which is the company that currently owns Powerbuilder, and request that they update their application to be compatible with the latest version of the Harvest Visual Studio Plug-in.
2. Or, you could use the "HarPB" tool that does not try to interact with Visual Studio.
