Issue/Introduction

Is there a way to generate the encrypted EEM password that is used in an AutoSys silent install response file without having to run the installer itself?

Environment

Release : 11.3.6/12.0

Component : AUTOSYS WORKLOAD AUTOMATION

Resolution

The only way to get the encryption used in the response file for the EEM password is through the installer itself. It is not one you can generate by running as_config, autosys_secure, or safex.
