z/OS Connect ACF2 INFOSTG enqueue hangs, high CPU usage

Issue/Introduction

Experiencing an abnormal amount of ACF2 INFOSTG enqueues. The D GRS,S appear to be slowing down due to high activity against the ACF2 INFOSTG database. When the z/OS Connect tasks are re-cycled the problem cleared. 

 

Environment

Release : 16.0

Component : CA ACF2 for z/OS 16.0  z/OS 2.3 and z/OS Connect

Resolution

z/OS Connect was changed to just 1 ping token, which helped significantly to reduce the CPU mips usage and address the slow downs and enqueues.
