Use of reCAPTCHA protection on login page?

Issue/Introduction
Is it possible to add a reCAPTCHA to the login page to protect from BOT attacks? Can this be done without purchasing another product (by adding into the existing code?)

Resolution
We don't support reCaptcha, but you can use SAML2 server where you can have the IDP do 2FA or captcha's etc
SAML2 IDPs can handle it for us
