Issue/Introduction

This technical document describes an issue where newly created account contact users are unable to access CABI components via the Operator Console. 

Symptoms of this problem: 

1. Some or all newly created account contact users will receive the below error when accessing the Operator Console Home tab and other OC tabs which rely on CABI functionality.

2. Impacted users may also see the following error message for CABI dashboards / dash-lets (e.g. selecting a Device in the Groups or Inventory tab): 

"An unexplained error has occurred and the operation failed."

Release : 20.3, 20.3.1, 20.3.2

Component : UIM - CABI

Resolution

This problem is now fixed as part of the UIM 20.3.3 HF1 release which is GA.
