IDB2 IMOD Rebuild failed with *** $DBACTV TEMPSAV failure

Issue/Introduction

During IMOD re-build for R20 using job GSSIMOD the following messages were displayed:

Resolution

The problem was caused by Performance Essentials. Its a program products that intercepts VSAM processing. To resolve this, exclude GSSA/SRVMAINT from them. Some example VSAM Performance tools are: VSAMASSIST, SMSPRO, VIOPlus, Hipercache, Hyprbuff and ULTIMIZER.
