.NET Framework Requirements for Identity Manager Suite

Issue/Introduction

 Identity Manager Suite requires specific .NET Framework dependencies for proper operation. Failure to install or maintain these dependencies on the host machine will result in product functionality issues.

Environment

Identity Manager 14.x & 15

Resolution

Identity Manager Suite v15 requires .NET Framework 4.8. This must be enabled as a feature on the host server.

To enable this feature on Windows Server (2012 and later):

1. Open Server Manager.
2. Navigate to the Dashboard and select Add roles and features.
3. Proceed through the wizard to the Features selection page.
4. Locate .NET Framework - 4.8.03761 Features and check the box to select it.
5. Complete the installation wizard.

Important Considerations

• Do not remove or disable .NET Framework 34.8 from the host machine after installation, as doing so will cause immediate degradation or failure of Identity Manager suite functionality.
• Ensure that any updates or maintenance activities on the server do not inadvertently remove this feature.
