Chrome Plugin: OKTA SSO BzM Authenticated user cannot login to chrome plugin

Issue/Introduction

 

We are using a private cloud instance of Blazemeter, not the SaaS implementation.
Users are authenticated via our company OKTA SSO to access BlazeMeter 's internal URL.
When accessing the Chrome Plugin, the user is not logged into BlazeMeter via the plugin and unable to login.
What do you need to do to have the Chrome plugin work with our Private cloud instance?

Cause

 

By default, the BlazeMeter Chrome extendion points to the SaaS instance of BlazeMeter.

Resolution

 

By default, the BlazeMeter Chrome extension is set up to use the SaaS Instance of Blazemeter for authentication.
When a client is using a private cloud instance they must go to the options screen for the Chrome extension and change the server.
