Non-English special characters not supported in IG SBT script

Issue/Introduction

UsertoRole.csv file contains following rolename Entry

1096068,90990_scanner_sécurité

Also Roles.csv also contains that role.

90990_scanner_sécurité,,,,AD Group,,,,,,,Risk: null,

But when the Import CSV SBT execution it throws the following warning message.

WARNING: Cannot Find Role '90990_scanner_s?curit?' (Link to user '1096068')

 

Environment

Release : 14.2

Component : CA IDENTITY SUITE (VIRTUAL APPLIANCE)

Cause

This is due to CSV file is on ANSI encoding.

Resolution

Convert ANSI encoding to Unicode
