"Error 401 User Not Registered..." in Advanced Reporting due to key store file issue

Issue/Introduction

When you access the Advanced Reporting page, you may receive the following error message:


Error 401 User Not Registered. User is not registered on the reporting server.

Cause

The key store file was not copied to the <JasperReportsServerTomcat>/config folder. Review the app.ca.log file for more information.

Component : CLARITY JASPERSOFT

Resolution

  1. Go to the CLARITY_INSTALL/bin folder and enter the command: 

    admin jaspersoft keystore

    This will generate the following files in the CLARITY_INSTALL/config folder:
    • <orgname>.jks (key store file)
    • <orgname>.properties (information about the key)
  2. Copy the 2 generated files to the Tomcat for Jaspersoft folder

          TOMCAT_JASPERSOFT/webapps/reportservice/WEB-INF/config

          <JasperReportsServerTomcat>\webapps\<jasperwebcontext>\WEB-INF\config\
