Issue/Introduction

Unable to delete a shutdown Unix v2 endpoint with the following error.

Cause

Endpoint cannot be deleted if neither the information in the PD is not accessible and unpingable.

Resolution

Delete the endpoint before shutting it down, or change the IP address of the shutdown endpoint in hosts file on the Identity Manager server to another pingable computer, then deleting it.
