Rally - Internal Server Error when uploading new license

Issue/Introduction

When uploading a new license file, the following error is seen:

Unable to sync license: Error: Internal Server Error

 

Environment

Release : 2.0

Component : AGILE CENTRAL ON PREMISES

Cause

This can be caused when the provisioning team has issued a new license instead of updating the license that is already on file.

The cause can be verified by examining the support bundle and looking at the following file:

primary/scheduler/swarm/replicated/logs/replicated_replicated.stderr 

Look for the following lines:

2021-05-11T21:10:17.133196858Z ERRO 2021-05-11T21:10:17+00:00 daemon/handlers/console_settings.go:363 Failed to sync license: Airgap license on disk does not match installed license

 

Resolution

Provisioning will need to update the correct license the provide the certificate again.
