Portlet Filter first-time returns no results

Issue/Introduction

Multiple different portlets are impacted where upon initial navigation we either don't see any results are fewer as expected. So far we have replicated this on Stage Gate Dashboard and LFO Project Stage Gate Dashboard.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Click Filter or hit enter. No results display:

2. Clear, then select Policy Area again. Click Filter or hit enter. Results display:

3. Only happens first time filtering a portlets after login. Can happen on multiple different portlets in a row after 1 login.

Environment

Release : SAAS

Component : CA PPM SAAS STUDIO

Resolution

Portlet had a hidden filter with Default value set and that is what caused results to be filtered upon initial navigation to the portlet.

To resolve the issue:

1. Made filter not hidden

2. Removed default value from that filter to allow end users to choose it.
