Accepted Iterations not appearing on the Rally Iteration Status page in the drop down list - the back arrow button is grayed out

Issue/Introduction

Accepted Iterations are no longer appearing in the Iterations status dropdown.   We used to be able to see all Iterations. (including accepted ones)

The back arrow is grayed out, I can no longer click it to see past iterations.

Cause

• The functionality of the Iteration Status page was not designed to show accepted Iterations in the drop-down list. It was designed to show only the unaccepted Iterations.
• The reasoning behind this functionality is that the iteration drop-down is always at risk of getting unwieldy when it is not bounded by the Iteration state.  There were also performance issues when a Subscription had thousands of Iterations that left the dropdown list unusable.
• The Iteration Status page is intended to view the more current active Iterations and not the Iterations that have been completed/accepted.
• Also, all Iterations accepted/unaccepted can be displayed in the main detail portion of the page, just not the search box.  This can be done with filters.

 

Resolution

Accepted iterations can be located by using Search.
