Issue/Introduction

One of your developers has an ISPF.ISPPROF library that is out of space. The first time they accessed the CA Workload Automation ESP Edition product, the variable ISPDTFRS was not added to the ISPF.ISPPROF(ISRPROF) member. When accessing ESP Edition's ISPF panel, you receive the following message:

ISPV011 Profile table not found - Unable to access VGET table for variable ISPDTFRS

*** ISPF Main task abend ***

Environment

Workload Automation-Restart Option R11.4

Note: This error can occur on other products that are accessed via ISPF.

Cause

The ISPV011 message refers to an error with the ISPPROF dataset and NOT the product that is being accessed.
This is an error within ISPF.

Resolution

  1. Allocate a NEW larger ISPPROF dataset (check Primary / Secondary allocations AND Directory Blocks)
  2. Copy current dataset into the NEW dataset
  3. Rename current dataset to OLD
  4. Rename NEW dataset to current
  5. Logoff / Logon to ISPF

If this does NOT resolve the problem, raise a case with IBM for further review.

Additional Information

Initially reported in ESP / Encore.
Also reported in CREWS product.
