How To Get Number Of Devices In A Collection/Group?

Issue/Introduction

I need the count of members in a group.  Is there an opportunity to get the number of members of a group via MySQL?

Environment

Dx NetOps Performance Management any version

Resolution

You can do the following:

• Connect to mysql on the CAPC shell
• Run command: use netqosportal;
• Run command: select count(*) from item_members where parentid=<group itemid> and childitemtype=4;
