Cannot invoke SOAP Web Service

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading CA Identity Manager 14.0 to 14.3 SOAP web services are not working from Policy Xpress.

The same configuration was working on 14.0 and not on 14.3.

The following error is logged:

"Failed running web service " which was caused by "java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "";For input string: """.

Resolution

A third-party jar file is taking priority over the regular library files that are used to run Web Services from the IM.  Removing the jar enables SOAP Web Service requests to run from the Policy Xpress.
