Baselines availability in MUX

Issue/Introduction

I can not find a way to display Baseline data in the Clarity Modern User Experience (UX) (MUX).

Are Project Baselines available in the Modern UX? What data is available for Baselines? 

 

Environment

Release 15.9.3

Resolution

The baseline object has been API enabled in 15.9.3.

Prior to 15.9.3:

• The baselines are not available on the Modern UX at the Project level.
• However, the baselines can be created at the Classic UI and the Team, Task and Assignment data can be displayed on the relevant Modern UX Modules.
• Baseline Cost, Baseline Start, Baseline Finish and Baseline Usage data can be found at the Staff, Task and Assignment modules. 

 

Release 15.9.3 and higher:

• The following data is available for Project Baselines: 
  • TEAM Object: Baseline Cost, Baseline Start, Baseline Finish, Baseline Usage 
  • TASK Object: Baseline Cost, Baseline Duration, Baseline Effort, Baseline Start, Baseline Finish, Baseline Last Updated Date, Baseline Variance 
  • ASSIGNMENT Object: Baseline Cost, Baseline Start, Baseline Finish, Baseline Usage 
• To create and manage Baselines, add the 'Baselines' Module to a Project Blueprint 
• Baselines are only available in Modern UX for Projects; not Ideas or Custom Investment Types (CITs) 
• The Project Tasks Module will allow you to 'Compare Baselines' in the Timeline layout when there is a Current Baseline 
• When creating a new Baseline where there is already a 'Current Baseline', the behavior is the same a Cost Plans 
  • Create the new Cost Plan and then right-click to select "Make Plan of Record"  
  • Create the new Baseline and then right-click to select "Make Current Revision" or "Update Baseline" 
    • When you 'Update Baseline' it updates the fields and makes that one the Current Baseline
