We are running Spectrum servers in parallel on Windows and RHEL on the same version of Spectrum. Since upgrading to RHEL 7.1 some devices are unable to capture the configuration of some devices in NCM but have no problem on Windows.
All problematic models use as Primary communication mode: SNMP / TFTP.
We're running the tftp-server (5.2-22) under xinetd (2.3.15-13) with all the right settings.
Release : 20.2
Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER
tftp-server (5.2-22) has problems with some UDP block sizes. Many customer have reported problems with this TFTP server version on RHEL.
Adjust problematic devices to a blocksize of 1024.
Or
Downgrade the tftp server to the version 5.2-13 which does not have this problem.e.g.
yum downgrade tftp-server-5.2-13.el7.x86_64'.
Some device may not sync after that but increasing the DNC Time out will resolve that.
