Issue/Introduction

IDM C++ Connector Server (CCS) is Crashing. Please find below Windows Event log:

 

Environment

14.3CP2, 14.4

Cause

The ADS log rotation feature causing this problem. There are two immediate options to stop the crashing.

1) Disable logging on the AD endpoint

 

NOTE: Need to reset the connector server after disabling the log(both JCS and CCS has to be restarted).

2) Disable CCS log rotation. (Note Feature was added in 14.3CP2)

Resolution

Fixed in 14.3CP3 and 14.4CP1 or later

It is also suggested that you follow the below KB to set the eTADSMaxConnectionsInPool value to 200.
