Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) version 14.3 RU1 MP1, newly created admins with Administrator or Limited Administrator access levels are unable to log in, even with the correct credentials.

Attempting login with new admin fails with the below error:

scm-server-x.log:

2021-04-20 15:02:29.185 THREAD 78 SEVERE: The administrator's user name or password is incorrect. Type a valid user name or password.

Environment

Release: 14.3. RU1 MP1 and later

Resolution

This is by design when SEPM has more than one domain,

"If the console has more than one domain, click Options and type the domain name."
