Issue/Introduction

I set up a schedule to import our users from an Active Directory Group name "Management" so they can have access to approve incidents.

When I create the Data Source Management in DLP, it executes fine but I'm not seeing the users in the DLP Users list. 

Resolution

Create a User Data Import task for "Management" using the AD User Login type.

Shorten the BaseDN for the root domain from ou=groupsOU,ou=domainOU,dc=domain,dc=com to dc=domain,dc=com.

Create the User Group "Managment" to use the new directory connection with the shortened base DN.

Restart the Symantec DLP Manager Service.

Run the User Data Import task "Management" to import the user data.
