Archiving in Clarity due to database size

Issue/Introduction

Is there an archiving function for Clarity? If not, is Broadcom considering anything like this?

Does Broadcom have any recommendations for how to downsize the database.  It is going to continue to grow, is that a concern in the future?

Currently there is no archiving possibility within Clarity. This is not currently on the roadmap.

To archive you could do the following:

1. Take a backup of the database
2. Once done, remove all the old data and projects by deleting in UI and running Delete Investments job if applicable
3. Use your database backup as archive

The size may become a concern if the data gets bigger. It could slow down, so we do recommend to keep things lean and run the database vendor statistics and maintenance.
