Published process not using updated parameters

Issue/Introduction

After updating a parameter in a process and publishing the process, the deployment process is not using the updated process.

Cause

The parameter was being edited by selecting the process, finding and selecting the action, clicking on the parameter name where it resided in one of the actions input fields. This opens an edit window for the parameter. 

Environment

Release : 6.7

Component : CA RELEASE AUTOMATION

Resolution

The workaround is to not edit the parameter by clicking on the parameter name - through an actions input field. If a parameter needs to be updated then please go through the Parameters tab, find the parameter, click the edit pencil. Then change the parameter value and republish the process. 

 

Additional Information

The incident could not be reproduced internally. If you are having this problem then feel free to open a support issue and attach logs folder from the management server and an export of the application having this problem.
