Issue/Introduction

Many repeating %CASAP_E_993 messages are being logged to the Windows Event Viewer. What is the origin of these messages?

Resolution

%CASAP_E_993 messages are generated by the legacy Unicenter Job Management for SAP (SAP Adapter) application. If you have converted to using the newer Workload Automation Agent for SAP and are no longer using the adapter, you can either stop the Unicenter Job Management for SAP service or uninstall it. This will stop the messages from being logged to the Windows Event logs.
