Can a limit on the number of devices in CA Performance Center (CAPC) be set?

Issue/Introduction

Is there any way to limit the number of active devices in CA Performance Management (CAPM)? The purpose being to limit the number of devices to never exceed a certain threshold (say 1500) in CAPM.

DX NetOps CAPM all releases

Resolution

There is no automatic method for this at this time.

There is an attribute named "UniversalList.Limit" that controls the LIMIT value we use for inventory views but it is for purely UI purposes, this attribute doesn't control the limit of active devices in Performance Center.
