Issue/Introduction

The UIM IM console has a Message Window and log that may be helpful in troubleshooting certain errors. 

Environment

Release : Any version. 

Component : UIM - IM

Resolution

Log Location:
$\Nimsoft\AC\logs\
nimbus_manager.log 
_nimbus_manager.log

Normal there isn't a lot written to it, so to increase logging:
At the system where IM is installed, open registry editor(using regedit command) 
Go to following key: 
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Nimbus Software\NimBUS Manager\Options 
Change "LogLevel" value to 5
Exit registry editor

If you happen to catch the problem while it is happening:
In IM go to View->Message Window 
Now in the Message Window right click and select Show Trace 
Right click again un-check Hide Events 
Right click again Copy to Clipboard
