Oracle DB 19c migration one database at a timme

Issue/Introduction
To minimize AutoSys WAAE Service down time, just checking to see if we could migrate/upgrade one DB at a time in a DUAL DB HA environment.
ie. inplace upgrade secondary DB from 12c to 19c, resync the data and then bring it up in a dual DB mode (12c on primary and 19c on secondary)
We might need to let the mixed versions of DBs running for a week before scheduling the primary DB upgrade.
Environment
Release : 11.3.6
Component : CA Workload Automation AE (AutoSys)
Resolution
You can stop AE, configure it for single ES mode and restart.
Next upgrade the db which is NOT in use from 12c to 19c.
Then stop AE, run autobcp to sync the dbs, reconfigure AE to use both DBs and restart.
Seeing as both 12c and 19c are supported with AE 11.3.6 sp8 AE should be fine as long as the local Oracle client on the AE host can still connect to the upgraded db once it has been upgraded without any issue.
Follow the same procedure again later when you go to upgrade the other database.
