Issue/Introduction

CEE3191E An attempt was made to initialize an AMODE24 application with
         run-time options.                                            
         The traceback information could not be determined.           
<> LEAID ENTERED (LEVEL xx/xx/xx AT xx.xx)

Error is issued when executing a TLMS module with incorrect AMODE.

Environment

IBM Cobol 6.2.

Cause

TLMS 14.0 SUPPORT FOR COBOL 6.2                                           
                                                                          
 With IBM dropping support for Cobol 4.2 in Sept 2021, the TLMS Cobol programs have been re-compiled with the Cobol 6.2 compiler.    
               
                     

Resolution

Apply TLMS PTF SO14539.

Additional Information

Prior to the installation of this solution, your Hlq.TLMS.CTAPLINK and Hlg.TLMS.AATLMOD0 datasets must be converted to a PDSE dataset.  
If this is not performed, SMP/E will fail during the apply process as the objects are compiled with Cobol 6.2.                          
                                                                     
This PDS/E requirement applies to both the SMP Target library and any copies created even if included in the LinkList concatenation.

Stop the CTS/TLMS address space and then restart it after doing an LLA,REFRESH.
