Issue/Introduction

We are trying to set session timeout for the default workspace in Functional BlazeMeter,
but it is not working for us and after the set time completes it is not showing any popup message for session timeout or it is not asking us to re-login the BlazeMeter.
could you please help us on this?

Cause

The BlazeMeter Session timeout works a little differently than might be expected.

Environment

SAAS BLAZEMETER PERFORMANCE TESTING

Resolution

As long as a tab for BlazeMeter remains open (on the machine), the user is considered an active user.
This is due to background actions that happen in the tab (even when the tab is not in focus).

For the user to be logged out, the user will need to close all open tabs on the computer, and then after the time period expires,
when the user opens a tab and attempts to access the UI, they will be redirected to login.

Note:
if the user has SSO or some other auto-login enabled, the user will not actually see the login page (if you look at the address bar,
you will see the user is first redirected to login), but rather will be auto-logged in and redirected to the BlazeMeter GUI.
