OPSMVS abends with OPS3149E ABEND X'00D22000' (X'0000003C')

Issue/Introduction

We are trying to bring up z/OS on one of our sysprog lpar, but when OPS/MVS executes the scripts it abends with below error code.

OPS1181O OPSMVS   OPSS (*Local*) MVS N/A TOD.RULE $DNODE,NAME,STATUS   
OPS3149E ABEND X'00D22000' (X'0000003C') AT OPSMMG+X'0000BE3C'            

 

Note: Another LPAR sharing the same dataset is working fine.

Cause

Probably the OPS/MVS parameter OCCONSOLENAME is set to a value that is not a valid active console.

Resolution

Set the value of the parameter OCCONSOLENAME to a valid z/OS console name.
