CA Harvest Software Change Manager

Issue/Introduction

The Oracle base engine where the base of this product resides was migrated, from Oraclee 12.1.0.2 to 12.2.0.1

For this, under the Harvest broker / server, the oracle version is updated, the 32-bit Oracle client was updated on the computer where the broker is, the environment variables in the harvest user's .profile were updated (the one that you call it cascm) and Harvest could not be lifted.
The connection to the base was checked with sqlplus and being OK, both for system and for haradmin.

Then try with hdbsetup and when wanting to connect (CO) it indicates the error:

0 [CA Harvest SCM] [ODBC Oracle driver] Client unable to establish connection.

Re-install the product from the "odbc" component onward, and still get the same error.

Environment

Release : 13.0.3, Lubux

Component : RAPID IMPLEMENTATION MANAGER

Resolution

Harvest administrator would need to upgrade the ODBC version installed with V13.0.3 to the latest version provided in the Refresh Pack V13.0.4. Please check this techdocs page for details.
