Issue/Introduction

The Powervault-based storage used by Security Analytics requires a username and password during initial setup. If the username and password are lost or forgotten, you can get locked out of the storage device.  

Environment

Component : U144 and U840 storage array

Resolution

The username and password are stored on the Security Analytics system in /etc/solera/powervault/config/powervault*json.  This will include the IP address, username, and password for the storage manager.
