Post WCC installation "CA-wcc-services" services was not created.

Issue/Introduction

Post WCC installation we are getting below error and "CA-wcc-services" service was not created.

Encountered below warnings during installation:

[CAUAJM_W_105000] Unable to create a service for the "WCC_COLLECTOR" component.

You can access the following services using the corresponding URL.

Note: It may take several minutes for the server to be up and running.

 

Environment

Release : 12

Component : CA Workload Automation AE (AutoSys)

Resolution

The problem was due to a wrong environment setting in the system variables due to a failed EEM install earlier

lax.nl.env.AUTOSYS_INSTALL_LOCATION=D:\CA\EEM

uninstalled WCC

Cleared system variables

Cleared c:\windows\temp and c:\users\..\temp

Restarted the windows server and reinstalled WCC and it installed fine.
