Issue/Introduction

When upgrading the java and after changes to the EM to access the new JRE the Enterprise Manager will not start.

In the logs you see:

Introscope Enterprise Manager failed to start because:
An error occurred while trying to start Isengard.
Error activating bean: com.wily.introscope.server.beans.apm.ApmServiceBean (com.wily.introscope.server.beans.apm.ApmServiceBean)
Couldn't find local service com.wily.apm.model.IApmDataService

Environment

APM Release : 10.7.0.45

 

Resolution

Upgraded Enterprise Manager to the latest Hotfix.

Contact Support for the latest Hotfix version.  At the time this article was written the latest was Hotfix #79
