Issue/Introduction

The Following message occurs at startup.

GSV2808I (CICSLOGR) Specified log stream name not defined in the LOGR policy.               
GSVX554E (CICSLOGR) IXGCONN CONNECT failed, log stream name not defined                     
GSVX571I (CICSLOGR) CICSLOGR task initialization complete                                   

I have looked at all the logstream definitions in parmlib member CICSLOGR and they are defined.  I do not find a logstream named 'not.defined'.

Resolution

This error was caused by a missing definition for the EITL logstream. If the EITL logstream isn't required, set the Logstream definition to NONE in the CICSLOGR parmlib member. Otherwise, define the EITL logstream and put the defined name into the CICSLOGR and LGLOOKUP member.
