SYSVIEW Performance Management Option for DB2 for z/OS

Issue/Introduction

The addition of new DB2 datasharing subsystems to a newly added LPAR in the sysplex do not show up in the Condition Monitor list.

Environment

Release : 20.0

Component : CA SYSVIEW Performance Management Option for DB2 for z/OS

Cause

The correlating GSS address on the new LPAR needed to be cycled to pick up the additions to the DB2SSID and INSIGHT GSS parmlib members.

Resolution

The addition of the db2 ssids to the GSS platform's DB2SSID and INSIGHT parmlib member on the new LPAR dictated the need to bounce the GSS address to pick up these additions. Once the GSS address was cycled the Condition Monitor in IDB2 revealed the new subsystems.
