Issue/Introduction

We are unable to open the snmpcollector probe in the Admin Console. Here is the error:

Message: The probe provisioning service at probe address "/UIMDomain/UIMHub/hostname/ppm" reported a failure. 
Resolution: Please review the PPM probe logs and resolve any issues before continuing. 
Error Code: MONS-025

Environment

  • Release: DX UIM 20.4.* / 23.4.* 
  • Component: UIM - SNMPCOLLECTOR

Cause

  • ppm corruption

Resolution

Please do the following:

  1. On the hub-robot where snmpcollector is deployed

    • Rt-click and deactivate the ppm probe

    • Rt-click and delete the ppm probe

    • Make sure the ppm folder is deleted on the filesystem under ~\Nimsoft\probes\service\

    • Deploy the latest version of the ppm probe from the archive (Make sure the latest version of ppm deployed)

  2. Deploy the mps probe to Primary hub robot

  3. Clear the browser cache

  4. Try opening the snmpcollector probe configuration again
