Can we use Iced Tea Java Web Start instead of Oracle Java Web Start to launch the AAI Client?

Release : 6.x

Component : AUTOMIC AUTOMATION INTELLIGENCE INTEGRATION FOR BMC

Resolution

Only Oracle Java Web Start has been tested for launching the AAI client, therefore it is the only supported Java Web Start for AAI at this time.

 

You can use an Open JDK with Iced Tea Web Start if it works in your environment, but if you have any issues we may recommend switching back to the supported Oracle Java Web Start.
