Issue/Introduction

Getting the error messages:

STC05660  CAS9899E Task 0002 Error: Invalid packet header received          

Environment

COMMON SERVICES 15.0 - z/OS supported releases - 

 

Resolution

The CCITCP/CCISSL task will ONLY accept a connection from either CCI/PC or the CCI Java client. 

That message is indicating that some unexpected application is attempting to connect to port 1202 on PNETLGX(##.##.###.##). 

Look on system name001(##.##.##.##) and locate that application and correct its configuration.
