The client just installed Date Simulator r 2.0 in CICS CTS 5.5. The Date Simulator started task is active on the LPAR. When executing the Date Simulator transaction DTSM in CICS the following error message is displayed.

The error message below is generated if the Date Simulator started task is not started on the LPAR or the Date Simulator CICS PLTPI program WARPCTIM is not executed at CICS startup time.

In this case we discovered that the Date Simulator PLTPI program WARPCTIM was not added to the CICS PLTPI as follows.

The CICS CEMT command can be used to determine if the WARPCTIM program is executed at CICS PLTPI time. In this case WARPCTIM had a USE count of zero which confirmed that WARPCTIM was not executed at CICS PLTPI time.
