Issue/Introduction

Resolution

The error message below is generated if the Date Simulator started task is not started on the LPAR or the Date Simulator CICS PLTPI program WARPCTIM is not executed at CICS startup time.

TransCentury Date Simulator has not been installed.

In this case we discovered that the Date Simulator PLTPI program WARPCTIM was not added to the CICS PLTPI as follows.

DFHPLT TYPE=ENTRY,PROGRAM=DFHDELIM

DFHPLT TYPE=ENTRY,PROGRAM=WARPCTIM

The CICS CEMT command  can be used to determine if the WARPCTIM program is executed at CICS PLTPI time. In this case WARPCTIM had a USE count of zero which confirmed that WARPCTIM was not executed at CICS PLTPI  time.

When program WARPCTIM is executed at CICS startup time the following message will be written to the CICS log.
