Description doesn't show in Modern UX Timesheets (DE60797)

Issue/Introduction

In Modern UX Timesheets we are not able to get the Description field added. The Classic Timesheet contains Investment and Description and Modern UX Timesheet should contain Investment and Description

DE60797 Description cannot be added to Modern UX timesheet

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Go to Clarity - Administration - Timesheet Options
2. In Default Content and Layout pick Description from Available Columns and add to Selected Columns
3. Save
4. Now go to Classic Timesheets, note the field is added to the timesheet when you open it
5. Go to Modern UX Timesheets
6. Open a timesheet, note Description is not added
7. Open the columns to add it

 

Expected Results: Description should be available to select and add to timesheets as it is in Classic

Actual Results: Description is not available

Resolution

• This is DE60797, reviewed by Engineering and determined to be NAB.
• Description is shown as Task Name in Modern UX, and Description in Classic UI.
• This is by design.
• We have a user story added in the backlog to review and adjust the behavior if needed
