NFA Trend Views show incorrect Retired message in DX NetOps Performance Management

Issue/Introduction

Why does it show the "Chart includes item with retired state." message in the Views legend? The Interface is Active in DA, PC and NFA and has current data.

NFA Report Analyzer based Trend Views for Interfaces incorrectly shows a message "Chart includes item with retired state". The Interface item the View is against is set with the correct Life Cycle State of Active. The Interface items parent Device also has the correct Life Cycle State of Active.

Environment

All supported DX NetOps Performance Management releases

Cause

A code defect causes NFA Report Analyzer Trend Views to incorrectly determine the Life Cycle State of items as Retired when they are Active.

Resolution

A resolution will be made available in the r21.2.1 release of DX NetOps Performance Management via work performed for defect DE501997.

At this time no known work around exists. The solution requires code change to resolve and requires upgrade to r21.2.1 or newer versions to be fixed.

If the Item involved shows as Active in other Inventory areas the message in the NFA Report Analyzer Trend Views can be ignored.
