Issue/Introduction

Server Panic After Patching Solaris 11.4 SRU 30 (Crashdump Shown SEOS_syscall)

Environment

Release : 12.8.x

Component : CA ControlMinder - Unix

Cause

Solaris 11.4 SRU30 had made changes in several kernel data structs and broke not only our SEOS_syscall kernel module but also many third-party kernel modules.  
Oracle reverted those changes and just released SRU32 last week to address the issue. 

Resolution

Currently, we are working on a new SEOS_syscall module that would support Solaris 11.4 SRU30, SRU31 as well.
