Issue/Introduction

I use DLP and have heard that the latest Oracle Critical Patch Update (CPU) addresses quite a lot of vulnerabilities.

I would like to download and install it - when will it be available?

Environment

DLP Release: 15.x and 16.x

Oracle standard release: 19c 

Component: Data Loss Prevention Oracle Standard Edition 2

Cause

Oracle has quarterly CPU releases, which provide product patches and security updates.

Resolution

DLP customers who obtained their Oracle license from Broadcom/Symantec will be able to download Oracle CPUs from the Broadcom Support Portal.

These are usually posted to the portal about 4-6 +/- weeks after Oracle CPU GA, after review and confirmation by Engineering.

If you did purchase Oracle from Symantec, the current CPUs are listed among available downloads within your entitlement for the product "Data Loss Prevention Oracle Standard Edition 2".

Additional Information

DLP customers who have the Oracle Enterprise version should be licensed to download Oracle CPUs directly from Oracle. Please confirm with Oracle if more information is needed.
