If a file is copied using Windows File Explorer from an unprotected folder on a local machine to a network share that is protected with File Share Encryption, at what point in the process is the file encrypted?
Symantec Encryption Desktop File Share Encryption 10.4.2 and above.
Files copied over the network to a File Share protected network share are encrypted before being transmitted over the network.
Note that this assumes that the user copying the file has PGP Tray running and has File Share Encryption enabled.
