Issue/Introduction

The archive is greyed out in the Infrastructure Manager (IM).  It will not expand.  The primary hub robot is not indicated in the Infrastructure Manager.

Environment

  • Release: 20.3
  • Component: UIM - INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGER

Resolution

This can be caused by a duplicate record of the Primary hub in the hubs probe (observed in the Hubs tab).

A duplicate instance can be created if the primary hub is named with the FQDN and a secondary hub is communicating with the primary hub using the short hostname.

The source of the duplicate entry will be the secondary hub that is providing this information.

Changing the primary hub name to the short name (which will also require validating the probes) and deleting the duplicate entries, will resolve the issue.
