How to mask a 32,000 characters long field for a Mainframe Flat file ?

Issue/Introduction

Here is a question for mainframe flat file masking.

How to mask a 32,000 characters long field for a Mainframe Flat file ?

We don't see an issue masking 100 byte length.  

 

What is the length limitation for masking a field ?

What do you propose as a solution for a very long field?

Release : 4.9.1

Component : CA Agile Requirements Designer - TMX Script Generator

Resolution

The upper limit  for masking flat files is 2000 characters long, So unfortunately you cannot mask a 32,000 character long field
